Software Router Smashes Speed record

 Technology at its peak again......

Researchers in South Korea have built a networking router that transmits data at record speeds from components found in most high-end desktop computers. A team from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology created the router, which transmits data at nearly 40 gigabits per second--many times faster than the previous record for such a device.

The techniques used by the researchers could lead to a number of breakthroughs, including the use of cheaper commodity chips, such as those made by Intel and Nvidia, in high-performance routers, in place of custom-made hardware. The software developed by the researchers could also serve as a testbed for novel networking protocols that might eventually replace the decades-old ones on which the Internet currently runs.

My First Blog Post

hiiiiii.......... here comes my first blog post. i never thought of writing a blog before, but have to start as a part of my work..... its really a different experience for me to post in the blog.

My first post is dedicated to Ravi Shashanka, an helping hand in building my career...... my senior in college....... who is my guide in my engineering life. In fact, the main reason for me to start the blog posting is none other than Ravi Anna.......

Though he is a well known person in my college i came to know about him in second year...... when i first met him i thought him as ordinary as others. But very shortly i came to know that i was wrong, when i started communicating with him....... a very talented person whom i never met before....... he is unique in his own way...........................
the way he speaks...... the way he express the things...... the way he handle things in our college...... he is more than a student and senior( from my point of view)....... in addition to academics he also helped me to get acquainted to the present world of competition.........   because of him it became possible for me to meet other well known people in my college......
very lucky to meet such a cool personality....... Thanks Anna for helping me........ :)
